Music

At TGS, we closely work with Sussex Music School (SMS) to provide our primary music curriculum. 

The curriculum is designed to foster a deep appreciation and understanding of music for students of all ages and skill levels. The comprehensive programme includes individual and group lessons in a wide range of instruments, as well as vocal training. 

There is an emphasis on a balance between practical performance skills and theoretical knowledge, ensuring students develop a well-rounded musical proficiency. The curriculum covers various musical genres and styles, promoting versatility and creativity. 

Working closely with Sussex Music School, we ensure that their experienced teachers are tailoring lessons to meet the unique needs and goals of each student, encouraging them to explore their musical interests and achieve their full potential. 

Additionally, we offer opportunities for students to participate in ensembles, workshops, and performances, enhancing their learning experience and building their confidence.
