Communication

At The Gatwick School we are continually striving to create the best collaborative family culture, between our staff, parents and students.

We understand that for this to be the case, all parties need to have open and honest dialogue with one another. We look to facilitate this as a school by setting a clear process of communication. This is set out below:

  • All events are communicated at least two weeks in advance with parents
  • All school communication goes via Arbor email and class dojo (for primary)
  • All letters are uploaded on the school website
  • A weekly newsletter is sent via Arbor email
  • The school operates 4 social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn)
  • Staff can be contacted via their work email address and or on class dojo (primary)
  • Staff will response to all emails within 48 hours/2 working days (excluding the weekend)
  • All homework and class/subject guidance is set on students google classroom

Please note, if you do not receive a response within the 48 hours window or you would like to further escalate your communications, having met with the staff member, please contact the staff members line manager (as listed in the above table).
