Young Reporters Article

The Young Reporters Scheme is an exciting initiative designed to give young people the opportunity to explore the world of journalism and develop their skills in real-world reporting. Aimed at individuals typically aged between 14 and 18, the scheme provides an invaluable platform for aspiring journalists to gain hands-on experience, learn from industry professionals, and contribute to real-world news projects.

We are extremely proud to share that one of our own students, Luoana, a Year 11 student, took part in the Young Reporters Scheme. As part of this fantastic opportunity, Luoana had the chance to interview our very own Headteacher, Mr. Marillat, about the exciting progress happening within our school. Luoana's hard work, dedication, and passion for journalism have paid off, as she successfully published an article through the program. Her article is now available online, and we encourage you to take a moment to read it. It's a true testament to what young people can accomplish when they are given the right tools, mentorship, and opportunities. We look forward to seeing how Luoana and others in the scheme continue to grow and make their mark in the world of journalism.

The Young Reporters Scheme is a fantastic stepping stone for anyone interested in pursuing a career in media, and we are excited to see many more students like Luoana embark on this journey. It’s programs like this that nurture the next generation of storytellers, and we can’t wait to see where their voices will take them.
