Headteacher, David Marillat said, “Congratulations to all our students on their fantastic achievements, it is a true testament to the culture of the school and their shared values of all the TGS Family. Students, staff and parents have worked together to achieve great success for the school and set a standard that I expect next years year 11 cohort will be itching to exceed. Thank you to all the staff for their incredible effort, in putting the students on the path to success and to the families, who have supported both the school and students throughout the year.
This year 11 cohort will forever be special to me, as my first as a headteacher and headteacher of TGS, they have shown grit, determination and resilience and my team and I could not be prouder of each and every one of them. I am confident that these students will continue to take their chances and give themselves more choices in their future, as they have done this academic year. Well done everyone!”
Chief Executive Officer for Aurora Academies Trust, James Freeston said, “It was a pleasure to attend results day and celebrate the success of this exceptional group of pupils. They couldn’t have worked harder or been more committed to doing their best and we look forward to hearing about their continued success’ in the future. My thanks to Mr Marillat, his staff team and the parents and carers who have provided so much support, which has helped the students to succeed.”
