Gatwick Gamechanger
Gatwick Gamechangers acknowledges your child’s choices and contribution to school culture. Teachers have provided feedback for each subject, and these have been collated and analysed. We will not consider academic outcomes when generating Gamechanger levels, but rather everything else that contributes to your child’s progress. You will receive feedback about your child’s academic attainment three times per year at the end of each term, and Gamechanger feedback at the end of each half-term to understand their overall engagement with school.
We have also considered attendance, placing high expectations on attending school all day, every day to maximise progress. Additionally, Form Tutors have provided feedback about readiness for school and learning by commenting on daily uniform and equipment. Finally, we have analysed the number of behaviour incidents for every child as we have high expectations for culture and are determined to continue reducing behaviour incidents.
Pupils who consistently receive Gold & Silver levels will be the first invited to rewards trips throughout the year and receive ongoing acknowledgement and encouragement for their outstanding contributions to the school community. We are committed to ensuring the pupils who uphold the highest standards, every day, are acknowledged and celebrated as this is the school culture we will create together.
A pupil’s Gamechanger status has been determined using the following criteria’s below:
We were delighted to host our second Gatwick Gold Brunch, and it was an incredible success as we celebrated the remarkable achievements of our outstanding students. Surrounded by parents, siblings, and loved ones, these students were recognised for their unwavering commitment to our school values, from exceptional attendance to exemplary behaviour and active participation in extracurricular activities.
A special highlight of the day was hearing from our inspiring keynote speaker, Viktor, an alumna who shared his journey and the lasting impact it has had on Viktor since leaving school. Viktor’s words were positive and uplifting, demonstrating the importance of staying true to oneself. We were also honoured to be joined by special guests, including local businesses, the TGS Central team, and School Governors.
Congratulations to all our Gatwick Gold recipients, your hard work and dedication have truly shone through, and we couldn't be prouder of your accomplishments.
